About Studio Hound Groom
After successfully running a dog grooming salon in Noosa Queensland Australia, Bree moved to Auckland to be closer to her daughter Marlo and they decided to set up a business grooming dogs together. Bree started her working career as a veterinary nurse and was trained to assist in surgery and to groom and clip dogs. Marlo has spent most of her time working with dogs and horses whilst raising her family and is delighted to be specialising in making a difference by grooming and walking all the beautiful dogs who come in to be with us.
Just recently we have been joined by Jo who has experience as a dog controller working for the Northland Council and is Auckland District Pony Club Assistant District Commisioner and also Treasurer. Jo is very experienced in animal handling and has a gentle and kind manner when working with the dogs.
We are very committed to the love and welfare of all animals but have a special interest in dogs.

A note from Bree
I've always believed that one of a dog groomer's roles is to be an intermediary between vet visits. When I was working as a Veterinary Nurse I was trained to detect prospective or existing ailments such as skin conditions, teeth problems, ear infections and lots more. Often noticing and treating problems early on can prevent them escalating. |
